Practice Experience
- Concentrates her practice on complex bankruptcy litigation, business litigation and business law. Ms. Iurillo also represents professionals, businesses and business owners struggling with financial challenges by advising them on their insolvency alternatives, including bankruptcy reorganizations, other insolvency proceedings or non-bankruptcy consensual workouts
- Her creditors’ rights and bankruptcy litigation practice focuses on guiding each client through the complex bankruptcy process in order to maximize recovery or achieve a successful result in the case. Ms. Iurillo also represents debtors in Chapter 7 and 11 cases. Having a strong background representing both creditors and debtors provides her with an insider’s view on how each side thinks and strategizes
- Represents businesses in disputes and her experience with successful fights in the court room goes hand and hand with the transactional protection businesses need. Leveraging the knowledge she has gained after over twenty years as a trial lawyer, is essential to this process.
- Represents institutional lenders, private lenders, investor groups and borrowers, including commercial and residential investors and developers, in commercial and residential foreclosures. Representing both lenders and borrowers provides Ms. Iurillo with a unique understanding of the litigation and foreclosure process, including the motivations of all parties
- Maintains an active commercial litigation practice, including representation of publicly and privately held companies, involving matters such as contract disputes, obtaining injunctive relief, fraud, sale of goods and services under the Uniform Commercial Code, fraudulent transfer litigation and collections
Representative Cases
- Served as lead counsel representing complex real estate ownership group, resulting in payment of millions to her clients in tenant’s Chapter 11 Bankruptcy case. Managed significant litigation in the bankruptcy case through successful resolution.
- Served as lead counsel for a multigenerational county wide catering company in a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy case through a successful reorganizational process that preserved the ongoing value and integrity of the company.
- Served as lead counsel representing a commercial building contractor in a national restaurant franchisee Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Case resulting in a significant recovery for the creditor contractor.
- Regularly serves as lead counsel representing Landlords to protect their rights and maximize recovery in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Cases filed by commercial tenants.
- Served as lead counsel in a hotly contested state court case involving the ownership interest in a Pinellas County historic building resulting in a significant court decision in favor of the owner.
- Served as lead counsel in the successful Chapter 11 reorganization of a multigenerational family owned Marina and Charter Boat Company. The case was filed on an emergency basis to block the efforts of the lender from shutting down the operations which would have needlessly resulted in the loss of jobs and elimination of an iconic family business.

Background
Camille Iurillo received a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Lawrence University in 1978 and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida Institute of Technology in 1980. Prior to pursuing a career in Law, she managed an acute care hospital laboratory in Stuart, Florida. Thereafter, she received her Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law. She has been a member of the Florida bar since 1991. She is also a member of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Southern District of Florida, and the Northern District of Florida.
As a prior business owner and community leader, Camille Iurillo brings her practical knowledge to the representation of businesses and professionals. Her experience includes working with restauranteurs, marina and charter companies, manufacturers, contractors, commercial real estate investors and many other types of business professionals.
The key to the success Ms. Iurillo brings to her clients is building a clear and concise path by combining both her legal knowledge and her practical business experience. Whether through tough financial challenges or during prosperous time, she presents her clients with a well-defined plan of action to follow.

She is a past president of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and has given back to the community by serving on a number of not for profit board such as the St Petersburg Bar Foundation, Community Law Program, Brookwood and other charitable organizations
Outside the office, Ms. Iurillo enjoys boating and kayaking with her husband, her Malti-poo, Skipper and her Brittany spaniel, Rudder. She also enjoys scuba diving and playing the piano.
