Englander Fischer Welcomes Three New Partners to Litigation Practice

St. Petersburg, Florida (December 28, 2015) – Englander Fischer is delighted to announce the addition of three new partners to the firm. John W. Waechter, Beatriz Sanchez and David S. Delrahim have been associates of the St. Petersburg-based business litigation practice for a number of years.

John W. Waechter engages in a broad range of commercial litigation, representing clients in contract and general business issues, securities, non-medical professional liability litigation and other areas. He also represents clients in establishing new business entities, drafting commercial agreements, developing and deconstructing corporate and other business relationships, and providing representation before various federal and state regulatory authorities. Formerly an executive vice-president and CFO for William R. Hough and Co., and a licensed CPA, Mr. Waechter currently sits on the Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Transamerica Asset Management Group, a mutual fund complex with more than $70 billion in assets under management.

Beatriz Sanchez has been a litigator in the Tampa Bay area since 2007 and focuses her practice in the area of commercial litigation. Ms. Sanchez represents clients in various business disputes and contractual matters, with an emphasis on non-compete and non-solicitation covenant enforcement. She currently sits on the 2016 Bubbles & Butterflies Gala Committee of Redefining Refuge, a local non-profit organization dedicated to fighting for the abolition of the domestic sex trafficking of minors.

David S. Delrahim is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law and has been practicing in St. Petersburg, Florida since 2010.  Mr. Delrahim represents a broad range of clients in business, real estate and bankruptcy litigation matters.  His practice focuses on advocacy in contract disputes, complex collection actions, partnership disputes and wrongful conduct of businesses in federal and state court.  Mr. Delrahim proudly serves the Tampa Bay community as President of the Shore Acres Civic Association, a board member of the Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services and other charities and law related organizations.
